Trump is the new president of USA! What this means for the financial markets

So Trump won today. I will try to stay neutral writing this by stating objective facts. Ok first, Trump will make industry in USA great again. By setting up tariffs, foreign companies want to set up factories in USA which will give jobs to the american people. This means a trade war with other countries, especially China. What most people don’t think about is that this is horrible for Europe as well, which is on it’s knees right now. But, he will make the car industry in USA boom, which will infect over to Europe. And that is good for the stocks in my portfolio. (If some are interested, I share my portfolio to investors in my secret telegram group).

Tariffs also means higher prices, also called inflation. And inflation will bring up the interest rate. We can see today (06.11.2024) that the 30 year bonds are up 18 basispoints, and the 10 year bonds are up 16 basispoints. This is good to strengthen the US dollar, but this is NOT good for stocks. But stocks are up today. Nasdaq up 2,83%, Dow Jones up 3,62%, S&P 500 up 2,49% and Russel 2000 up 5,4%! INSANE. So I am still expecting a recession in america, but I think it will take about 3 weeks before people have their eyes open for the tariff, inflation, rate problem.

Trump want’s a strong american economy. And USA makes a lot of money from Oil, therefore he want’s the oilprice to stay high. He will do this by increasing the oil activity in USA. Remember, Americas currency is nicknamed “Petrodollar” for a reason.

Trump called himself the crypto president. That is why Crypto surged 10-30% today. He will bring down regulations in both crypto and bank sector. He will make the job harder for SEC to set up regulatory rules. I generally have little clue about crypto, but I will not be shocked if BTC is worth 100,000 during 2024-2025. (Not financial advice, I am not invested in crypto myself).
